things to know for:
ATHLETES & parents
Who NFSC is for:
We may be called the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, but you don’t have to be a standout athlete or a committed Christian to attend Nebraska FCA Sports Camp. Whether you’re curious about faith, eager to grow in your sport, or both, this camp is for you. You’ll experience high-level training in your sport—something your coach will love to hear about—along with unforgettable fun and meaningful time diving into God’s Word alongside other athletes from across Nebraska.
There are so many people praying for you--YOU--even as this is being written, that you would know you're loved by your Creator. So whether you're an athlete or not, a Christian or not, no matter where you're at in life, we'd love for you to join us this July so we can walk alongside you and pray with you.

- WILL MY ATHLETE BE ABLE TO HAVE THEIR PHONE WITH THEM AT CAMP?
Campers will be allowed to access cell phones during their free time to check in with parents.
- CAN MY ATHLETE ROOM WITH THEIR FRIEND?
We don't allow roommate requests. Why?...
- Camp is about growing, not staying comfortable.
- Camp is a great place to practice being independent, to handle new situations and make new friends, in a fun and safe environment.
- It's been well tested and it works. Many lifelong relationships and even best friend friendships come from random roommate assignments. (What we put together as "random" assignments we trust the Lord is sovereignly and lovingly overseeing.)
- It keeps things fair - everyone is in the same boat of being assigned a roommate - so no one is left out or treated differently.
- What will my athlete need to bring?
What Campers will Receive at Check-in:
- Camp themed t-shirt
- Bible
- Pen and Camp notebook
What to Bring:
- Bedding and linens are NOT provided so bring your own bedding (pillow, sleeping bag or sheets/blanket to fit a twin XL bed)
- Towel and washcloth
- Toiletries – such as soap, toothbrush, deodorant, sunscreen, etc.
- Modest athletic attire is required at all times during Camp. Both girls and boys must wear t-shirts during workouts and shorts must be an appropriate length. Tank tops are allowed as long as undergarments are not showing.
- Water bottle
- Optional: snacks for between mealtimes
Valuables: Do NOT bring them. FCA will NOT be responsible for lost or stolen items.
FCA swag will be available for purchase in the Camp Store!
This camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.)
FCA Camp is a separate legal entity than The Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska.
