Megan Fletcher
UNL Women's Sports, Noris/Waverly Area Representative
Lincoln-Southeast Nebraska
Megan attended Doane College where God captured her heart during her collegiate volleyball experience. FCA and discipleship through FCA grew her heart for the Word, coming alongside others, and helping them grow in their own relationship with God. She joined FCA staff in August of 2018 because God has called her to serve coaches and athletes at University of Nebraska Lincoln with the transformative truth of the gospel!
Megan’s passion is for Discipleship! (1 Thessalonians 2:8 & 2 Timothy 2:2) She loves coming alongside coaches and athletes and helping them learn to love God more through His Word and impact those with the truth of the gospel in their sport!
Megan says ”Sports has a unique and big platform in our world. Through my own experience, sports taught me a lot about my sinful heart and my need for Jesus. FCA trained me in gospel truth to help counter the lies and play freely in Christ! Now, I get to be a part of this awesome FCA team that prioritizes the truth of the gospel and its impact in the lives of coaches and athletes. I love the way that the gospel applies, deeply, to the highs and lows within sports and helps us to grow more into the image of Christ.”
Fun facts about Megan: She has never broken a bone. Her sister-in-law's name is also Megan Fletcher. Megan enjoys being active, being outside, hosting friends, and a good cup of coffee.
