Imagine gathering with 6–8 high school students and creating space for honest conversations, laughter, prayer, and time in God’s Word.


As a Huddle Leader, you’re doing more than helping students get from one activity to the next. You’re investing in who they’re becoming, helping them connect faith with competition and everyday life, and pointing them toward a deeper relationship with Jesus.


You may only have one weekend with them, but that impact can last much longer.


We’ll train you, equip you, and keep you fed.

WHAT TO BRING TO

WEEKEND OF CHAMPIONS

You need to know what to bring, don't you? Of course! Here's a list that we've found are the best things to bring!

(Or not bring?) Excellent question. So glad you asked.


For sure bring:


  • Bible — yes that's the book for me
  • Pillow — unless sleeping poorly is part of your ministry strategy.
  • Sleeping bag / air mattress / blankets — whatever keeps you from becoming one with the gym floor.
  • Towel
  • Toiletries — your Huddle will appreciate this more than they know.
  • Athletic clothes — you’ll be moving, competing, and participating right alongside students.
  • Modest, comfortable clothing — plan for a full weekend of activity.
  • Tennis shoes — definitely.
  • Extra shoes or sandals — because Nebraska weather enjoys chaos.
  • Socks and undergarments
  • Backpack
  • Watch — very helpful when you’re responsible for getting people places on time.
  • Water bottle
  • Snacks  — to share or hoard, that's between you and the Lord.
  • Phone charger
  • Any medications you may need
  • A willing attitude — slightly cheesy, still true.


We’ve got you covered — Huddle Leaders will receive the materials they need for the weekend, including:

 

  • Huddle packet
  • Camp booklet
  • Pen
  • WOC shirt


Please don’t bring, if you can help it:


  • Valuables — if losing it would ruin your weekend, leave it home.
  • Distractions — especially during Assemblies and Huddle times. Your students will follow your lead, so phones away and attention up.
  • Most importantly, come ready to be present, build relationships, and point students toward Jesus.
